Wake up! (Drama)

You will need two people for this one.

Person 1 is 'asleep' in room.

Person 2 bring children into room.

Person 2: Today we have person 1 leading KidZone today. Oh no, she looks like she is asleep. We better try to wake person 1 up. Wake up person 1! (Person 1 does not wake up) Maybe you will have to help me. On three I let's all say together 'Wake up person 1.' 1,2,3 (everyone) Wake up person 1. Hmmm. She hasn't woken up. We will have to try again. 1,2,3 (everyone) Wake up person 1. She still hasn't woken up! That's no good. She's going to miss out on our fantastic lesson! But you know what? It says in the Bible that God doesn't sleep so he is going to be here for our lesson. He will never miss it. Seen as God is awake and right here now, how about we say a prayer and thank God that he doesn't sleep and we can always talk to him? (Say a quick prayer) Ok, I think we should try one more time to wake up person 1. What do you say on 3? (Wake up person 1.) 1,2,3 Wake up person 1. (Person 1 wakes up, yawns and looks at her watch)

Person 1: Oh no, I fell asleep. I've missed the lesson!

Person 2: That's ok. God doesn't fall asleep like you do, so he was awake for our lesson!

Person 1: That's good. I was worried that the children didn't get their fun, but of course, God is always awake and ready for us.
