There's been one who has been with me through the hardest parts of my work with kids and anyone who knows me knows Sally. I found Sally, my gorgeous little bunny who has been everywhere with me, asleep this morning and I could not wake her up. It is a sad time for all our family because she's been a dearly loved part of our family. I won't forget just two days ago when Sally was playing with Caleb, my 12m old nephew. Caleb was lying on his back so I popped Sally on his tummy where Caleb laughed in delight as Sally licked his neck then lay down to let Caleb poke her eyes and pull her eyes. She's never bitten anyone so I could trust her with kids no matter how young.

She'd been with me to childcare, holiday program, Sunday school and my outreach program. Sally was a special part of our Sunday school; every time she visited the children would flock to her and she'd lap it all it. One of the little girls with Cerebral Palsy just loved her and would Sally always go sit on the tray of her chair and let the little girl hit her and grab at her, I think just because the little girl loved it so much.

Sally was a very special little bunny and it is hard to say goodbye. Thanks for all the smiles you gave to me, my family and all my beautiful little kids. I will miss you!
