Interactive drawing

Resources:

  • whiteboard and markers or butches paper and textas
  • something for the children to draw on and draw with. (I laminate some pieces of card and give each child a laminated card, whiteboard marker and tissue - works as a whiteboard)

When telling the story, draw simple pictures and symbols on the board. Don't worry about 'bad' drawings. It needs to be simple enough that the children can copy it. Cut pictures into letters (great for when children are learning their alphabet)to simplify. Eg. draw an upside down C for a frown or lots of V's for spiky hair.
