This is a great activity for older kids. Get each child to make 2; one for them to keep and one to give to someone else. If you are doing Operation Christmas Child (see the Samaritans Purse Website), or funding some missionaries or sponsor children, you could send one of each pair to these.

Resources:

large beads, hat elastic, scissors

• Thread the beads onto the elastic as shown. Several beads can be threaded instead of just one.
• When finished, knot the elastic off and thread the ends through the nearest beads so they cannot be seen.
