Cross the Floor!
Resources: none, a large open room.
1. Select one student to be 'it'. Have all the other children stand against one wall.
2. 'It' calls out a fact about the lesson learned that day - if it is true, the children must try to run to the other side of the room. If it is false the children must stay against the wall. If students try to run on a false statement they are out. If the students are too young to make up their own statements, say statements for them, but let a student still be 'it'.
3. 'It' must try to tag as many people they can as they run across the room. If 'it' tags someone, that person must freeze where they are. They may then try to tag other people in subsequent rounds but may not move from the spot they were tagged.
