Change The World Banner
Back to Missions
This is good to empower the kids to see that they can make an impact on the world.
Resources:
Butchers paper, paint, sponges, bucket of water
Before the lesson:
- Cut out a large circle out of butchers paper. I joined 2 pieces together to make a larger diameter.
- Draw the world on the map. If you're bad with geography like me, this might help you draw it on. Photocopy a round world map onto an overhead transperency. Stick the paper circle on to the wall, the project the map onto the wall and copy the map onto your page.
If you have two weeks, the first week get the kids to paint the world, then let it dry. Otherwise do it before the lesson.
-
Write "We Can Change The World" or just "Change The World" or "Make a Difference" or any other title you want on the world at the top.
-
Get each of the children stamp their handprints on the outside of the world to create a border, meeting up with the title.
